Stephanie Craft, MBA, has worked in the A/E/C industry for more than 30 years. Her marketing strengths lie in researching and opening new doors for technical firms by getting directly to decision-makers and influencers, and obtaining and using client feedback to help firms differentiate themselves and strengthen client loyalty through targeted strategic efforts. She also works with firm leadership to evaluate in-house marketing and business development efforts to optimize staff processes and procedures. Stephanie has been a featured speaker at many A/E/C professional society meetings and has been selected “Chapter President of the Year” twice by the national Society for Marketing Professional Services for her management expertise serving as President of the Utah and Sacramento Chapters.

Gareth Figgess, Assistant Professor - Construction Management Department | CSUS
Gareth Figgess bring 20 years’ experience in the construction industry to his work as an Associate Professor in Sacramento State's Construction Management Department. Prior to joining the faculty, Gareth worked in heavy-civil construction. His interests have since led him to focus on sustainability and net-zero energy construction. He is most proud of building two solar/net-zero homes with students when he started at Sac State. The design and construction efforts were led by students and in his words, “It was the strongest project “team" dynamic I have worked in". In addition to teaching at Sac State, Gareth is a licensed contractor, which provides him the ability to bring the latest in construction technologies and experiences to his students in the classroom giving real-world application to their learning. Outside of work, Gareth enjoys the outdoors and spends his time hiking and whitewater kayaking

John Haskell, Principal, Earl Consulting Co., LLC , and Guest Lecturer - Construction Management Department | CSUS
John Haskell joined Earl Consulting Co. as a principal in 2018. A skilled construction management professional with a career built around the commercial construction arena, his diverse background in construction gives him unique insights into a broad range of construction activities. John graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Sac State in 1977, and he has worked in the construction industry ever since. His experience ranges from working with commercial general building and engineering contracting firms to Vice President of Construction Operations for a data center service provider that designed, built and operated their own facilities. In addition to his construction experience, John has also served as a guest lecturer at California State University, Sacramento where he taught classes in the Construction Management Program.

Maram Daood, Estimator | Otto Construction
Maram Daood joined Otto Construction as a cost estimator in 2017. She graduated with a degree in Construction Management from Sac State in 2019 as one of four women in her graduating class. Her position with Otto Construction places an emphasis on the importance of collaboration, communication, and trust. She believes that diversity within the workplace and within each project team is one of the most important components and key to a successful project. Her experience over the years has focused heavily on K-12 schools and higher education, predominantly CSU projects.
