The CREATE Mentoring Program exists to educate and inspire high school students to pursue career pathways which create the built environment.
The CREATE Mentoring Program is a 10-week project in which students will:
- Work with various mentors from the engineering, architecture, trades and construction industry to simulate the comprehensive process of planning, designing, and building a structure
- Participate in hands-on trades based projects
- Visit active jobsites
- Gain hard and soft skills including computer software programming, scale modeling, public speaking, and project management
- Attend the annual competition/awards banquet to present their projects against other participating schools from California.
