"I believe Design and Build is probably the most practical application of skills learned in the classroom. Students are able to take a series of skills learned and put them together to build a project from start to finish. The competition promotes a team spirit not necessarily to win an award but to work together to produce the best possible shed the team can. There are so many great teams and designs it helps to drive teams to improve each year as they look forward to the next competition.
