This scholarship is offered to graduating high school seniors who are actively involved in the 2023 Design Build Competition at the time of submission. Eligible candidates for the Design Build Scholarship shall demonstrate the intent to pursue a career in the built environment.

Current sophomores and juniors in the school year are eligible to apply for a $1,250 scholarship towards attending the 2023 CREATE Summer Camp, full price to attend is $1,450. The CREATE Summer Camp is a six-day, five-night program that introduces students to careers in construction, re-development, engineering, architecture and the trades. Students will design and build a project for a local nonprofit, complete a needs assessment, meet industry executives, tour active job sites, explore Sacramento and San Francisco, and stay at CSU, Sacramento.
