CREATE Mentoring Program
The CREATE Mentoring Program exists to educate and inspire high school students to pursue career pathways which create the built environment.
The semester long program is held on campus where high school students are mentored by industry professionals through a project that simulates a real-world RFP. During the process, students complete a client needs assessment, architectural review, design documents including schematic floor plans and interior and exterior elevations, schematic-level engineering plans, construction site logistic plans, visit active construction sites and explore various careers in the built environment. The program culminates in December with the annual competition and awards banquet.
