Program Coordinator - Northern California Youth Programs
Overview
As part of CIEF, in partnership with the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange, this position requires a dynamic, highly motivated, and energetic individual. This position reports to the Director of Youth Programs and works to promote and coordinate the workforce development activities of the organization. This position is based in Sacramento and will be expected to provide planning and effective execution of our Design Build Competition, CREATE Mentoring Program, CREATE Summer Camp, Trades Days, and events related to CIEF’s work with high school youth throughout Northern California.

This is a full-time position with supplemental benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and a 401k savings program. Anticipated salary is $48,000-$51,000. Skills/Knowledge
- Experience working with the construction industry (preferable, but not required)
- Understand non-profit organizations
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking
- Availability for same-day travel at minimum of one day per week and occasional overnight travel
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Organize, plan, and execute workforce development, and educational programs
- Manage pre-developed program budgets in coordination with the Executive Director and Program Director
- Manage program details, volunteers, and materials required
- Outreach to the construction industry to increase visibility and support the CIEF’s workforce programs
- Coordinate program statistics for grant funding and fund development reports
- Support funding efforts for programs
- Other duties as requested
